Kindness can be priceless

If you look around yourself you will see never ending need for love, affection, assistance and help. DGFG is just offering you a handful of ideas you can choose from. Your novelty will always be deeply appreciated.

1. VISIT AN OLD AGE HOME
Take out time from your busy schedules and spend some quality time with those who have been abandoned by their families and are living a life of solitude

2. DONATE YOUR HAIR
If you have long hair, you can cut your hair short and donate your hair to a foundation that uses it to make wigs for people with cancer.

3. PICK UP TRASH
Beautify your surroundings! Be kind to the environment and those around you by picking up trash when you see it lying around. It doesn't matter who left it there, just pick it up!

4. DONATE BLOOD
You are somebody’s type….donate blood! Save lives!

5. CLEAN THE ROAD INFRONT OF YOUR HOUSE
Let’s make the neighbourhood clean and green

6. DONATE OLD TEXTBOOKS
One of the most expensive parts of going to college can be purchasing the required textbooks needed for classes. Often one class will require multiple reading materials, and that adds up quickly when you are taking four or five classes.

7. SEND A LETTER.
Mail someone a letter. Letter is infinitely more exciting than an e-mail, text or Facebook. You can send us a pic of your letter too at info@dogoodfeelgood.in

8. COOK A HEALTHY MEAL
This is especially for the husbands! Help out your wife in the kitchen today and see her smile and feel your love grow.

9. START A PIGGY BANK FOR A CAUSE
Keep your spare change in a piggy bank and when it is full, donate it to a cause or charity of your choice.

10. MAKE A BIRD FEEDER
Place a bird feeder outside your window or in the veranda and see the little creatures chirp.

11. HELP SOMEONE WHOSE CAR IS BROKEN DOWN
No one enjoys having car trouble, especially if they are on their way to work or late for an appointment. The feeling of being stranded somewhere can be extremely stressful, but it can also very lonely. All it might take for you to boost the spirits of someone whose car is broken down is just to stop and see if there is anything you can help with. Even if help is already on the way, he or she will be grateful for your gesture.

12. SEND FLOWERS
Show someone--your mom, your wife, a friend--you love them by surprising them with flowers when they least expect it. So often flowers are sent on birthdays or anniversaries. Send flowers to your loved ones on any day!

13. ORGANIZE A CARPOOL
Driving can be a stressful activity, especially when you live in a high-traffic area or do a lot of driving during rush hour.

14. HELP SOMEONE FIND A JOB
Looking for a job can be overwhelming and frustrating, which is why when someone offers to help you it means so much! If a friend or colleague recently lost their job or is looking to re-enter the job market after a number of years away, offer to help!

15. DONATE YOUR OLD CLOTHES TO ORPHANAGE OR THE NEEDY
Your old clothes can be someone's new clothes.

16. RUB A LOVED ONE'S BACK
After a long day at work or tiresome load of homework or housework, being able to relax with another person is often the best thing that can relieve you. Just making contact with someone else can be relaxing, whether that is simply having a conversation with someone, giving them a hug, or even taking the time to rub their back.

17. CALL YOUR GRANDPARENT
Our grandparents are an important part of our culture and our history. Spending time with a grandparent is a great way to learn about your heritage, your family history and even about yourself.

18. CALL OR VISIT SOMEONE WHO IS SICK
Being sick is no fun. It can be frustrating because you are not able to do the things you normally do. Not being able to socialize with people you normally see can also make being sick very lonely. Call someone who you know is sick and ask them how they are. Or, surprise them with a visit and bring flowers or a card. Knowing that someone cares about you is often the best medicine!
